The Korea football association celebrated their eve of the 75th anniversary on September 18 with all senior members of Korean football community, presidents of provincial associations and distinguished guests from abroad.

Former national star players of Korea and Japan, HONG, Myung Bo, SEO, Jung Won, YOO, Sang Chul, SOMA Naoki, IHARA Masami and others for the celebration friendly match between Korean old stars and Japanese old stars on next day attended the eve as well.

The KFA presented over 20 historical items at the cocktail reception, which would provide good opportunities to look back the glorious moments of Korean football especially with a Korea republic jersey and participant's medal at the 1954 FIFA World Cup in Switzerland which was Korea's debut on the world football's showpiece event as well as the certificate of the fourth place at Korea-Japan 2002 World Cup.

In appreciation of people and organization who helped Korean football's development and progression, the KFA gave the Achievement Awards as they celebrate the 75th anniversary to PARK Tae-Joon (Honorary President of Posco), Chang Deok-Jin (Former KFA president), The late CHOI Jung Min (Former national team player), PARK, Jae Seung (Former national team player), LEE Won Hong (Former minister of culture and public information) and Nike (The official sponsor of KFA).

KFA would continue their celebration with full of events and matches from early in the morning on next day.
